AHAHA DUMB TITLE IDK
But eeee a little something something for 's comic project! Crossovered with a series I'm sure a lot of us are familiar with. Gotta love the name Nero.
And hhhhh again, a super souped-up doodle thing
these are really... addicting to make, though ; _ ;
Anyways, happy-it's-almost-Halloween to all you freakos out there!
mouse-doodled in SAI, effects and text done in Photoshop CS2
character is demi's, and the
cosplaycostume dude is Capcom's.
AAAH DENI'S DELICIOUS LONG COMMENTS ////
Yeee I think I've been using orange a lot. Which means I've been drawing the hellish atmosphere a lot too. |"D
I really like over-adding these textures now, haha. Glad you think it looks good! ; u ;
I initially wanted him to have a forced "i'm so cool lol" expression, while looking worried
since he was obviously forced to do this deliberate cosplay. Aaah yes, his demon hand, I saw it as a mass of energy, so I didn't put much definition and detail into drawing it... I'm gomen o<-<
I ALSO USE THOSE BLACK MASSY THINGS A LOT TOO DJSKFHA
It's like, an instant placeholder if I want to fill the pic with something cool... It looks much nicer than usual in here, though! Glad you think the same! :"D
Haha, the BG was really bland when I finished the coloring, so I decided I'd take an extra 10 minutes to refine some parts and make it more pleasing to look at. ; u ;
Again, thank you so much for all your input, Deni! Much appreciated!
Onion makes you cryAwesome work Rae! You made some more serious art right there! :'''DDDFor some reason I love the sky.OH AND THAT LOGO AH RAE TEACH ME HOW TO DO THAT AWESOME SHIT
It makes devils cry
oh wait that's garlic
And aaah this isn't really serious art yet though; I still need to make a serious linearted piece. ; o ;
Thanks a bunch though, Deni!
The sky was 10 minutes of splattering dark brushes for clouds, ehehe. A bit lazy, as with everything else in the pic. Glad you like how it turned out though! ^^
And AHAHAHAHA this is my favorite part
-add the text on the picture, make sure it's a nice, editable size
-Get the Magic Wand tool, Select the text (or outside the text, then click "Inverse)
-Click the "Select" submenu on top, go to "Modify" , and select "Expand". Set the Expand pixels to however you wish. This is to get the border outside the text.
-Once the selection has been expanded, make a new layer under the Text layer, and Fill the selection with any color you wish. This will give your text border some color.
You can also add some other elements, like an image into your logos, put them behind your text, and use the same Expanded Border method on the element to give it some zing. |"D
